Lagos Nigeria is the commercial city of Nigeria, the West African oil giant. Millions of Nigerians have migrated from their villages to Lagos in search of a better life.
Why?
Well, they have heard of how beautiful life is in Lagos Nigeria. They have heard that jobs are abundant and that money is available for the taking.
They also watch Nigerian movies where they see overhead bridges, network of tarred roads, high-rise buildings, beautiful mansions, and impressive cars. And they desire to be a part of that affluence.

Is this to say everything about Lagos is tough life?

Some of these people have just finished high school, some have just graduated from the University, and some did not go to school at all.
Irrespective of their educational status, these folks come to Lagos ill-prepared. They come in search of white collar jobs and have no other skill. And so they fail when they cannot find a well-paying white collar job.
